Thoughts rising is one of the smaller figures from the bog men rising. He is made from black stoneware clay with loose brushstrokes of white slip on his exterior surface. His interior surface is glazed providing a small present of relief, the shiny next to the coarse. Hi is mounted on a beautiful piece of bog oak, that time and Fermanagh bog has formed over 1000 years. He stands 14in / 35cm high, his body is is 8 in/20cm and the bog oak plinth is 5 in / 13cm.
