I work with clay, this material that grounds us to the earth, that connects us to one another,  to our past and points toward our future.

     

In my work I do not seek perfection, I find it an empty pursuit, I want to embrace the beauty in imperfections, the life in expression.  I love the muddiness, the mess, the endless possibilities, the unending learning curve and even the disasters.  I will never master clay, I do not seek to, I just want to put some joy and hope into what I make.
