Ghostly rising is made from coarse buff clay and fired to stoneware temperature. The ghostly rising is finished with a manganese wash, highlighting texture and shadow, the interior wall has been glazed giving a river of colour and life to cotrat with the gnarly exterior. Ghostly rising is mounted on a beautiful polished piece of bog oak, a wood that has been impregnated by the bog land of County Fermanagh where it lay for 1000 years.  It stands in total 18 in/ 45cm high, the body being 12.5in/29cm and the bog oak plinth is is 5in /13cm.
