Curiosity rising is made from black stoneware clay finished with copper oxide, it's interior wall glazed, smooth, flowing and glassy in comparison to his surface texture. Curiosity is mounted on a piece of Fermanagh bog oak, from a trunk that has  has been shaped and shaded by the acidic bog waters for over 1000 years. Curiosity stands 13 in/33cm high, the figure being 7in/ 18cm, the bog oak 3in/8cm.
